“Teach Me to Walk in the Light,” Children’s Songbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 177
1. (Child) Teach me to walk in the light of his love;
Teach me to pray to my Father above;
Teach me to know of the things that are right;
Teach me, teach me to walk in the light.
2. (Parent) Come, little child, and together we’ll learn
Of his commandments, that we may return
Home to his presence, to live in his sight
Always, always to walk in the light.
3. (Both) Father in Heaven, we thank thee this day
For loving guidance to show us the way.
Grateful, we praise thee with songs of delight!
Gladly, gladly we’ll walk in the light.

~I had a wonderful experience this past week, I was able to attend BYU Women's conference.
I learned so many things. I have a journal full of things that I've learned, and things that I need to do to be better as a mother, a wife and a daughter of God. I am excited to implement these changes. I know that I cannot change everything all at once but SMALL changes can make great things happen in my home.
I chose this song because I felt impressed about my role as a mother and the opportunity that I have to raise my three beautiful children.
-I know kids grow and change and there are days where I am too aware of the speed of time in their lives. There are also those days where I get frustrated and tired, and kids are exhausting and the time moves slowly then.
A speaker at women's conferance brought something to my attention, that I had never thought of before.
"I will know my children as adults for all the rest of eternity , but this is the only time that I will know them as children, I am so lucky to know them now."
The love I have for my children is strong as it is with all parents. But the love that I have for them as Children is something that I have never thought about in quite that way.
It really gave me something to think about. This is the time to cherish, it will never be returned to me. I am grateful to be a mother. I am very grateful indeed, for the guidance that the light of Christ is to me and my children. I can help my children grow toward the love and the light of the Savior. I can know them through eternity because of His plan.
